Provide a sense of security and assist in conflict resolution.

Skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
Must be physically fit and able to handle irregular hours.

What you can achieve:

Together with a competent team, you are responsible for guarding as well as access and property control in an asylum centre
You conduct patrol duties in pairs inside and outside the building
Convey a sense of security to your fellow human beings 
Your presence ensures a smooth daily routine as well as peace and order
In conflicts, you act de-escalating and intervene to ensure the safety of asylum seekers and the population
Cooperation with various authorities
You take on non-routine security tasks in the asylum environment such as the initial registration of new asylum seekers

What you bring:

Minimum age: 20 years
Swiss citizenship, C permit or B EU/EFTA
Impeccable reputation
Very good German skills in spoken and written form, foreign languages an advantage
Communicative, good manners, confident appearance and high resilience
Willingness and enjoyment of irregular working hours (weekend and night work in three-shift operation)
Willingness to perform at least 8 shifts of 8 hours per month
Intercultural competence and sensitivity in dealing with different cultures
Very good mental and physical resilience (willingness for self-defence training), physically fit
Driving licence category B (own car required)
