Procedural Assistant to the Department Head 50%The Public Prosecutor's Office Winterthur / Unterland in Winterthur conducts criminal investigations against adults in the districts of Andelfingen, Bülach, Dielsdorf and Winterthur.
From 1 December 2026 or by arrangement, we are looking to complement our team with your support as a Procedural Assistant to the Department Head (50%) – in job sharing.
Job Description
As an assistant to an investigating public prosecutor and department head, you will take on all secretarial and administrative tasks. You will independently manage the secretariat. You will be responsible for organising and recording interrogations and the administrative preparation of resolutions, and you will liaise with authorities, parties and third parties. In addition, together with the public prosecutor, you will periodically provide on-call duty during the week and at about 2 weekends per year. The role requires independence and good collaboration. Furthermore, within the scope of the additional function, you will be responsible for administrative and organisational matters within the department. The working days are Wednesday morning, Thursday and Friday.
Requirements
You have completed commercial training and have several years of successful secretarial experience. Your high typing skills and impeccable, confident German are a matter of course. In addition, you have good IT user skills.
You work independently, reliably and flexibly. Integrity and discretion are self-evident to you and you have an interest in criminal prosecution. You are characterised by a high sense of responsibility, resilience and have an organisational flair. When dealing with parties involved in proceedings and interface partners, you always find the right tone.
