Director of Sales, Marketing & Commercial Strategy (m/f/d) 100%
In this position, you are responsible for the overall commercial strategy of our establishment with its areas of hotel, residences, MICE as well as F&B outlets. In close cooperation with the executive management, you sustainably strengthen the market position and continuously develop revenue, market shares and top-line performance.
Your main tasks
Commercial Strategy & Revenue
- Development and implementation of the overall commercial strategy
- Co-responsibility for budget, revenue, ADR, RevPAR and market share targets
- Analysis of market, competition and demand developments
- Management of forecasting, budgeting and KPI analyses
- Strategic leadership of the external revenue management partner
- Co-responsibility for pricing, yield and segmentation strategies
Distribution & Sales
- Strategic responsibility for distribution and online sales
- Further development of the direct booking strategy and OTA performance
- Expansion of key accounts as well as acquisition of new customers and partners
- Development of new sales channels and cooperations
- Representation of the hotel at events, fairs and networking activities
Marketing & Brand
- Responsibility for brand positioning and brand development
- Management of all marketing, PR and communication activities
- Further development of digital visibility (website, SEO, SEA, social media)
- Responsibility for CRM, newsletter and content strategies
- Ensuring a consistent brand experience across all touchpoints
Leadership
- Leadership, coaching and development of sales & marketing staff
- Promotion of a commercial mindset within the organisation
- Close cooperation with operations, reservations and front office
- Preparation of reports and presentations for executive management and board of directors
Your profile
Professional qualifications
- Several years of professional and leadership experience in sales, marketing or commercial management in upscale hospitality
- Very good understanding of revenue management, distribution and pricing
- Experience with digital sales channels, CRM and online marketing systems
- Knowledge of the Swiss market as well as luxury/lifestyle segments is an advantage
- High affinity for numbers and experience with forecasting and KPI analyses

- Entrepreneurial and inspiring personality with a hands-on mentality
- Strategic thinking ability and pronounced brand understanding
- Negotiation skills, strong network and convincing appearance
- Passion for hospitality, lifestyle and premium experiences
- Languages: fluent in German and English
