What is my role?

You are responsible for the maintenance, repair, and servicing of various types of bicycles. This includes carrying out inspections, replacing worn parts, and precisely adjusting gears and brakes. You advise customers on technical questions related to bicycles and also carry out modifications and customisations. Diagnosing faults and resolving technical issues are part of your daily routine, as is the final check after every repair.

What do I need to be successful?

• Completed training as a bicycle mechanic, two-wheeler mechatronics technician, or comparable qualification

• Solid knowledge of bicycle technology and experience with various drive systems is an advantage

• Manual dexterity and technical understanding

• Careful and conscientious working style

• Customer orientation and enjoyment in dealing with people

• Teamwork skills and reliability
