Starting in the fall semester 2026, a
Lectureship for Classical Guitar (10-30%)
in the profile Interpretation & Performance is to be newly filled. As a lecturer for guitar, you will be responsible for the artistic training of usually 4 main subject students, primarily in the Bachelor of Arts in Music and Master of Arts in Music Pedagogy programs. Additionally, you will provide ensemble lessons as needed.
We are looking for a musician with a professional focus on music pedagogy. Versatile stylistic competence as well as experience in leading ensembles are part of your artistic profile. You will actively collaborate with other professors and lecturers of the plucked string instruments majors and contribute to the further development of the guitar department within the Music Department.
We expect excellent didactic skills and a university didactic qualification, or the willingness to further educate yourself in this regard.

The trial lessons with a short recital, teaching lessons, and professional discussion will take place on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, and/or Friday, February 27, 2026, in Zurich. The short recital and teaching lessons will be conducted publicly at the university.
