About the job
We are looking for a
On-site Meeting & Events Organization 100% (m/f/d) - Zurich ZH
Your area of responsibility
- Organization and coordination of meetings from 2 people, including room reservation, technical equipment, snacks, and drinks.
- Planning and execution of events up to 1000 people, from needs assessment to operational implementation on site.
- Coordination and management of external catering partners, including offer comparison, ordering, quality control, and budget monitoring.
- Creation of seating arrangements, schedules, and information materials to ensure smooth execution.
- Communication with internal stakeholders and external service providers to efficiently manage requirements, changes, and special requests.
- Ensuring a professional guest experience, including reception, support during the meeting/event, and proactive problem solving.
- Working hours: Monday to Friday office hours / flexitime, sporadically very rarely on Saturday (1* month)
Your profile
- Completed commercial training with further education in Meeting and Events
- 2-3 years of experience in event or event management required
- Highly independent and solution-oriented working style
- Very good local knowledge of Zurich and Switzerland
- Good German skills (spoken and written) as well as good English skills
- Continuous willingness to develop yourself and our service continuously
