About the job
The Wehntalerstrasse was renovated between the motorway junction «Zürich-Affoltern» and Regensdorf. During the renovation works, the Wehntalerstrasse had to be completely closed for 9 months. tribus traffic planning ag developed a large-scale traffic management concept for this purpose. Using static performance proofs, it was ensured that the affected junctions (K1 – K5) would not be overloaded. The interests of all road users, including public transport, had to be taken into account. To successfully implement the traffic concept, the corresponding traffic light systems (TLS) had to be adjusted in their configuration. All work from the study (SIA Ph. 21) to commissioning/completion (SIA Ph. 53) was carried out by tribus.
