Automation Technician for Polymechanic – Service Technician Nationwide Switzerland – Great Permanent Position
Tasks
- Thorough induction in the company and accompaniment of an experienced service technician in the field
- Getting to know machines, products and operational processes
- Gradual assumption of independent service assignments
- Installation, commissioning, maintenance and repair of machines at the customer’s site
- Analysis and troubleshooting on site and via remote support
- Technical contact person for customers and ensuring reliable system operation
- Support of internal assembly and production
Requirements
- Technical basic training with a Federal VET Diploma (Polymechanic, Automation Technician, or similar)
- Very good mechanical and good electrical knowledge (reading and understanding schematics)
- Knowledge of networks advantageous (setting up, configuring networks and integrating devices)
- Experience as a service technician and with remote tools is an advantage
- Reliable, resilient and team-oriented personality with an independent and solution-focused working style
