At a glance
In this position as a Field Engineer (international service technician) at SKAN, you will be part of a great team with a strong team spirit that takes care of the maintenance, qualification, and calibration of our systems in the field. The range of systems goes from older models to state-of-the-art filling lines. Both the training through our SKAN Academy and your several years of professional experience as a Field Engineer will help you quickly find your way in our environment.
With a high travel component within Europe, you can expect exciting challenges, new cultures, and the opportunity to apply your know-how internationally. The deployment usually takes place on a weekly basis (Mon-Fri), sometimes over two to three weeks.
Tasks
- Carrying out maintenance of our systems
- Qualifications, re-qualifications, and inspections of SKAN systems & products in the pharmaceutical environment
- GMP-compliant documentation of test protocols
- Calibration and adjustment of sensors
- Filter integrity testing and ventilation qualification
- Replacement and repair of components as well as troubleshooting interventions on isolators
Hard skills
- Technical basic training and/or higher technical education (mechanical engineering, mechatronics, polymechanics, etc.)
- Several years of experience in the international service technology environment is ideal
- Experience in the GMP environment or in the field of isolator technology is desirable but not mandatory
- Very good German and English are required
- Due to the travel activity, a residence in the Basel / Allschwil area or the willingness to move there is recommended
