About the job

As a psychology intern in psychiatry, you will accompany the varied process of group therapy for patients with depression and support the group leader in preparation and follow-up, in indication and final discussions, as well as in documenting progress entries. You will gain insights into various therapeutic tasks of the Psychiatric Services Thun and collect valuable experience in dealing with people in challenging life situations. You will work in a professional and supportive environment.

If mutually interested and suitably qualified, the role can optionally be supplemented by working in the outpatient nursing groups "Dabeisein und Mitmachen" (Tuesday afternoon) and "Gesundes Genissen" (Friday afternoon). The employment percentage will be adjusted accordingly in this case.

Start date 1 December or by arrangement; working day Monday, fixed-term employment for at least 12 to a maximum of 15 months.

• Psychology student in advanced studies (at least a completed Bachelor’s degree is mandatory)
• Working day on Monday, possibly an additional working day
• You are socially competent, motivated and interested in taking responsibility under close professional supervision
• Reliable and independent working style

• A motivated, multiprofessional team consisting of psychologists, doctors as well as specialists from psychiatric nursing, social work and administration
• An open, employee-oriented collaboration and a friendly working atmosphere
• Remuneration according to cantonal guidelines
