Reference: CLS/RH/2025.716 / Contract type: Permanent contract at 100% / Hours: Monday to Friday according to two schedules: 7:15 am - 4:15 pm / 9:00 am - 6:00 pm / Start date: as soon as we find the right person / Location: in the heart of Lausanne (M2 stop "Riponne" or Bus 2, 3 or 21 stop "Beaulieu-Jomini")
Why do we need you?
Following the departure of one of our technicians, we are looking for a radio-oncology technician to complete our team and ensure optimal patient care.
What will you be expected to do?
Every day, you put your technical and interpersonal skills at the service of humane and safe care.
- Personalized support: welcome and inform patients and their relatives, guiding them with empathy throughout their treatment.
- Precision serving therapeutic effectiveness: install and position patients taking into account their comfort, physical and psychological state.
- Advanced technical expertise: perform radiotherapy sessions in compliance with medical protocols, ensuring safety, radiation protection, and quality of care at all times, either independently or in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Mastery of state-of-the-art equipment: optimally use the department's devices and ensure the quality of imaging expected by the radio-oncologists.
- Active contribution to treatment planning: implement necessary immobilization devices and rigorously apply planned dosimetry, while adapting protocols according to medical recommendations.
- Continuous vigilance: ensure the relay of medical instructions, especially for patients requiring special monitoring during or after sessions.
- Involvement in the department's life: participate in organizing department activities and contribute to the integration and training of new colleagues and students.
