The BIZ – regionally rooted, competent and independent
Over 100 years of trust and partnership
The BIZ was founded in 1904 as the Zuzwil Savings Institution and was converted from a cooperative into a public limited company in 1982. Today, the independent institute, with over 1,300 shareholders, is firmly anchored in the region. As a village bank, we know our customers and their needs precisely. Competence, customer proximity and reliability characterise our work, while short decision-making paths enable us to respond quickly and flexibly to your concerns.
Since 1994, the bank has been a member of the Entris shareholder pool, a joint organisation of regional banks. By outsourcing back office services to Entris companies or external partners, we can deploy our resources even more effectively for our customers.
As a participant in FINMA's small banks regime, we also benefit from simplified regulatory requirements reserved for small, well-capitalised and particularly liquid banks. This creates additional freedom for us to focus entirely on your needs.
