Biomedical Analysis Technician at the Clinical Chemistry Service
The Clinical Chemistry Service of the Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology (DMLP) is seeking a biomedical analysis technician for an 80% to 100% workload, on a permanent contract. The starting date is planned for 1st September 2026.
Context
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the 5 Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, CHUV plays a leading role in medical care, medical research, and education.
The Clinical Chemistry Service (CCL) performs clinical chemistry analyses 24/7 for CHUV services and external partners. It ensures the quality of results while contributing to the institution's teaching and clinical research activities.
Mission
- You perform and technically validate clinical chemistry analyses for both adult and paediatric patients
- You manage communications with laboratory clients
- You participate in the laboratory's quality management system.
Profile
- You hold a federal diploma as a biomedical analysis technician or an equivalent qualification recognised by the Swiss Red Cross
- You are proficient in clinical chemistry analyses, including manual analyses
- You have at least 5 years of experience in the diagnostic field
- You enjoy working as part of a team
- You demonstrate rigour, precision, and discretion.
