Apprenticeship as Commercial Employee EFZ 2027 100%Do you want to become part of Switzerland's economic engine and shape your professional future with the Canton of Zurich? Then you are exactly right with us. Around 300 apprentices complete their training with us in 25 different professions. Of these, around 110 apprentices are in commercial training.
The Apprenticeship
The commercial training is carried out in a rotation system with an annual change. This gives you the opportunity to get to know different companies, areas of responsibility and workplace cultures of the Canton of Zurich. During your training, you will go through various organisational units, such as:
- Career counselling centres (biz)
- Vocational and universities of applied sciences / University of Zurich / University of Teacher Education
- Courts / Public Prosecutor's Offices
- Child and Youth Welfare Centres (kjz)
- Tax Office, Social Welfare Office and Migration Office
- Road Traffic Offices and many more...
During your training, you will get to know a variety of administrative and organisational tasks and take them on independently. These include, among other things, providing telephone information, advising customers at the counter, and organising events. In the inter-company courses of the public administration sector, you will acquire the necessary action competences, which you can then further develop in your daily work, in projects and at events.
The Requirements
For the three-year basic training as a commercial employee EFZ, we expect good school performance at the highest school level. You are strong in communication and enjoy contact with people. In addition, you have very good oral and written German skills. Openness to new things, willingness to learn and reliability complete your profile.
With very good school performance, you also have the opportunity to complete the vocational baccalaureate in combination with the three-year basic training as a commercial employee EFZ.
