Construction Tinsmith 100% (m/f/d)

What is my role?

For the Lyss location, we are looking for a construction tinsmith (100%). In this role, you will take on the following tasks:

• Manufacture, assembly and repair of sheet metal elements for roofs and façades?

• Processing of sheet metal materials in the workshop: cutting, edging, profiling and preparation

• Carrying out assembly work, sealing work and adjustments directly on site at the construction site

• Interpretation and implementation of technical plans as well as independent organisation of your work area

• Ensuring high quality standards, orderliness at the workplace and compliance with safety regulations

• Active participation in the assembly team as well as regular contact with construction management and clients

What do I need to be successful?

You bring the following:

• Completed apprenticeship as a construction tinsmith, tinsmith or a comparable craft training

• Solid knowledge in metal and sheet metal processing (cutting, bending, folding, soldering/welding)

• Experience in the field of roof and façade construction, including detail work and sealing techniques

• Experienced use of hand and machine tools as well as confident reading of technical plans and drawings

• Independent, precise and responsible way of working

• Physical resilience, no fear of heights and a strong quality awareness

• Team spirit, reliability and clear communication skills in German

• Driving licence category B desirable
