For an established ophthalmology practice in the Basel metropolitan area, we are seeking a specialist ophthalmologist (60-100%) starting October/November 2026.

The practice has been providing high-quality ophthalmic care at two locations for many years and will move to new, modern premises in 2027 – an exciting opportunity to help shape the next stage of development from the outset.

Your responsibilities:

• Independent management of conservative consultations with high professional competence and a consistent focus on the well-being of your patients
• Diagnostic assessments and creation of individual treatment plans incorporating modern examination methods
• With your open, appreciative manner, you contribute to a pleasant team collaboration and communicate on equal terms
• Active involvement in the further development of the practice and ensuring a high standard of medical treatment quality

Your skills:

• You hold a specialist qualification in ophthalmology – initial professional experience in a practice is welcome but not required
• You enjoy teamwork and value professional exchange as well as mutual support in daily work
• With your professional competence, empathy, and strong social skills, you build a trusting relationship with your patients and their relatives
• You are characterised by an independent, responsible, and structured working style as well as a high awareness of quality
