Your Tasks
- Ensuring professional psychiatric care during the night shift as well as empathetic support of patients through the night
- Observation, assessment, and early recognition of changes in mental and physical condition with initiation of appropriate measures
- Professional action in crisis and stressful situations, including crisis intervention and de-escalation strategies
- Planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing measures within the structured nursing process considering individual needs
- Careful nursing documentation and structured handovers to ensure smooth processes during the night shift
- Interdisciplinary collaboration with nursing, medical and psychological services, therapists, and social services
Your Profile
- Completed training in nursing, e.g. as a qualified nurse, health and nursing professional, geriatric nurse, or curative education nurse
- Experience in psychiatry is an advantage but not a must – structured induction possible
- Independent working style during night shifts as well as strong teamwork skills
- Empathy, reliability, and clear communication in dealing with patients
- Flexibility and willingness to work within a structured float pool system
