About the Position
Start your career with a practical entry into the industry. At Hitachi Energy, you combine your bachelor studies with exciting tasks in project engineering for gas-insulated switchgear. You will gain insight into the technical planning and implementation of real customer projects and learn step by step the technical, organisational and documentation-related tasks in engineering.
Note: The internship is only possible in combination with a practice-integrated bachelor’s degree at the University of Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzerland FHNW / Zurich University of Applied Sciences ZHAW.

What You Can Achieve
- Support the engineering team in handling customer or development projects for gas-insulated switchgear
- Create and maintain technical documents, drawings and 3D models
- Contribute to the development and implementation of technical solutions for our customers
- Maintain documents, parts lists and drawings in document management systems
- Collaborate with internal departments such as project management, production or purchasing
What You Bring
- Completed secondary school leaving certificate (Matura) as a prerequisite for admission to FHNW or ZHAW
- Interest in electrical engineering, power transmission and energy supply
- Enjoy working in interdisciplinary and international teams
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and interest in CAD tools
- Openness, teamwork skills and enjoyment of collaboration with various departments
- Structured working method, initiative and willingness to learn new things
- Very good German skills, at least level C1
- Good English skills, level B2 or higher
