Head of Communications for the Areas of Media and Graphic Design, Web and Events (80 - 100%)

About the job

• Ensure and further develop a modern, high-quality shared services offering in the areas of Media and Graphic Design, Web and Events for the two departments Architecture, Wood and Construction BFH-AHB as well as Engineering and Computer Science BFH-TI
• Develop and implement the annual planning for the shared services, together with the heads of the Marketing and Communications (M+K) departments AHB and TI
• In addition to leadership, also perform specialist tasks in the area of Media and Graphic Design (e.g. Digital and AI Media Productions, Multimedia, etc.) including coordination, planning/implementation and post-production of projects with internal and external partners
• Support the shared services specialists in advising the departments and coordinate their work to guarantee a coordinated and effective service to the stakeholders
• Work closely with the M+K management to create a synergistic, future-oriented collaboration, with a view to the joint Campus Biel/Bienne

• University degree or comparable education and training in the fields of Marketing, Communications and Media Production/Design; several years of professional experience is mandatory
• Proven leadership experience in matrix or network structures as well as competence in developing a constructive team culture, coaching and lateral leadership
• Strong conceptual and organizational skills combined with a high degree of creativity and solution orientation
• A strong negotiator personality with the necessary diplomacy and appropriate empathy
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in German as well as very good knowledge of French and English; good knowledge of MS Office products as well as technical affinity for and openness to other common tools (e.g. CMS, CRM, Adobe Suite, etc.)
