The Finance Department ensures compliant financial accounting and annual financial statements according to Swiss Obligation Law, as well as a transparent reporting, controlling, and planning system for the University of St.Gallen. It supports the university management with evaluations and management information in the areas of finance, teaching, and research. The Accounting Service Center is looking for support in this versatile role.
Your Tasks
- Ensuring the proper management of the accounting of the core university, institutes, and foundations
- Preparing annual financial statements according to Swiss Obligation Law
- Managing the securities accounting and securities registers
- Conducting reconciliations
- Supervising and being responsible for a trainee (commercial employee EFZ)
- Participating in projects
Your Profile
- Completed commercial basic training with finance-specific further education as a specialist in finance and accounting with federal diploma or an equivalent qualification
- At least 6 years of professional experience in a similar role
- Experience with SAP FI-CO, SAP Treasury knowledge is an advantage
- Very good MS Office skills, especially Excel
- Analytical and solution-oriented thinking, goal-oriented and persistent working style, as well as assertiveness
- Trustworthy person with a professional demeanor
