Job description
As part of your duties, you play a central role in the quality of care and support for residents. You provide high-quality individualised care, based on continuous and attentive assessment of needs, focused on quality of life, respecting the values and self-determination of each individual.
You carry out your mission in close collaboration with relatives and interdisciplinary partners, in a coordinated approach oriented towards the well-being of residents.
In this capacity, you plan, deliver and evaluate care, while ensuring rigorous and compliant traceability of interventions. You also contribute to the supervision of the care team and ensure, through your expertise and sense of responsibility, the continuity, safety and quality of services.
You participate in establishing a lasting relationship of trust with residents and their relatives, based on listening, respect and dignity. Finally, you actively contribute to promoting institutional values as well as the continuous improvement of quality practices.
Profile sought
- Holder of a Swiss HES nursing diploma or an equivalent qualification (recognised by the Swiss Red Cross for foreign diplomas);
- In possession of a valid practising licence in the canton of Geneva;
- Strong interest in geriatrics and psychogeriatrics, as well as in clinical analysis applied to the elderly;
- Strong ability to work interdisciplinarily, with a collaborative spirit and excellent interpersonal skills;
- Organised, pragmatic and autonomous personality, with a high sense of responsibility;
- Strict respect for professional ethics principles and confidentiality of information;
- Ability to communicate clearly, to take a stance and to establish constructive dialogue with residents, relatives and teams;
- Excellent command of French, both spoken and written;
- Proven ease in using IT tools, notably for managing care and support records;
- Demonstrated adaptability and constant commitment to continuity of care, ensuring effective management of unforeseen events;
