Role: As a link between exploration & extraction, you support the team and the head of raw material extraction in the systematic planning, execution, and control of the brine processes at the two locations Riburg and Schweizerhalle. You ensure that compliance with regulatory requirements, technical standards, and standardized processes in the field of brine technology is guaranteed. You make a central contribution to the safe, sustainable, and economical extraction of the white gold. From Switzerland for Switzerland.
Your Tasks
- Co-design and implementation of processes in the field of brine technology as well as technical support for cavern development (with the help of established simulation software - including pre- and post-simulation).
- Development of cavern balances (History Matching) and preparation of corresponding technical reports.
- Planning of brine extraction, including the preparation of work and planning documents as well as participation in the development of workover programs.
- Optimization of operational work planning and processes to increase efficiency in ongoing brine operations in the brine fields.
- Application and further development of modern extraction methods according to the current state of science and technology.
- Co-responsibility for the continuous improvement of brine processes and aftercare of the cavern fields, in collaboration with colleagues.
Your Profile
- Completed university degree (diploma, university or ETH) in mining, geology, drilling technology, mechanical engineering or related fields – career changers possible!
- 3–5 years of professional experience in the fields of mining (ideally also underground mining), brine or leaching technology, cavern construction, or drilling technology.
- Know-how from the fields of extraction, drilling, and leaching technology as well as the geological and environmental context.
- Practical experience from project work (project management), including planning, implementation, and documentation of technical projects.
- Technical support of the brine fields – from the creation of the drilling to the proper aftercare of the caverns.
- Preparation of technical planning and work documents for workover activities.
- Ability to work interdisciplinary with internal and external stakeholders.
- Reliable and trustworthy in dealing with sensitive technical and regulatory issues.

- Strong conceptual and analytical skills
