Sexton Service / Building Maintenance

We are an open-minded parish composed of 4 communities: Bassersdorf, Nürensdorf, Brütten and Lindau. To support our 5-member caretaker and sexton team, we are looking for you for the church property in Bassersdorf.

Your area of responsibility 

• Cleaning before and after events and services 
• Preparation and accompaniment of events, receptions and services 
• Technical support of events with operation of video, audio and lighting technology 
• Maintenance of the outdoor area 

We expect from you 

• Good technical understanding with IT affinity 
• Experience with safety issues (occupational safety and fire protection) 
• Strong service orientation and hospitality 
• Structured way of working 
• Very good oral and written German skills 
• Enjoyment of practical work 
• Independent, reliable personality 
• Outgoing personality with good access to all age groups 
• Willingness to work also in the evenings, Sundays and public holidays 
• Presence expected on 5 days
• Interest in church life and connection to the Christian faith 
• Driving licence
