Job Description
To strengthen our team, we are looking for a dedicated and qualified certified nursing specialist HF/FH for the area of anesthesia/recovery room. In this responsible role, you make a significant contribution to safe, competent, and empathetic care of our patients before, during, and after surgical procedures.
Your responsibilities:
- You professionally prepare patients for anesthesia and provide comprehensive information about the process and relevant safety aspects
- You ensure professional and close postoperative monitoring and care in the recovery room
- You assess patients' pain perception and initiate appropriate pain therapy measures
- You act quickly, safely, and appropriately in postoperative complications or emergency situations
- You maintain careful, complete, and legally compliant documentation of all nursing interventions
- You work cooperatively and solution-oriented with surgeons, anesthetists, and other professionals of the interdisciplinary team
- You assist anesthetists in performing various nerve blocks
- You consistently adhere to all guidelines, processes, and safety standards of the clinic
- You continuously further your education to keep your expertise in anesthesia and recovery room care up to date
Qualifications
- Certified nursing specialist HF/FH or equivalent qualification recognized in Switzerland
- Professional experience in recovery room or perioperative care
- Good knowledge of anesthesia procedures, postoperative care, and pain therapy
- Confident handling of medical devices and monitoring systems
- High clinical assessment competence and pronounced diligence in documentation
- Resilient, reliable, and efficient in dynamic situations
- Very good German skills; additional languages are an advantage
- Team player, strong communication skills, and committed to continuous education
- Willingness to work flexible hours and shifts
