The Neufeld Gymnasium is a cantonal educational institution with around 1,750 students and learners, 210 teachers, and 50 staff members. We combine high professional standards with careful advice and support for our learners.
Our school is divided into three gymnasium departments – humanities and social sciences, mathematics and natural sciences, as well as economics and law – as well as two other training areas: the Bern Maturity School for Adults (BME) with maturity and bridging certificates and the cantonal technical secondary school (FMS) with a three-year training program and technical secondary school or technical maturity certificate.

Tasks
You inspire students for language and literature, design lively, clearly structured lessons, and promote writing, reading, and communication skills at a high level. You individually support the students, responsibly assess their performance, and actively contribute your ideas to the department and school life.
Requirements
You have completed training as a high school teacher in the subject of German or are about to complete it. Ideally, you have teaching experience at the gymnasium or FMS level and are committed to demanding, contemporary teaching as well as constructive collaboration within the faculty.
