Specialist in Building Maintenance EFZ or Cleaning Staff with Work Experience 50%The Kantonsschule Enge Zürich is a short-term grammar school with the Matura profiles "Economics and Law", "New Languages" and "Philosophy, Pedagogy, Psychology" as well as a commercial middle school (HMS). With 160 teachers, 30 staff in administration and operations, and over 1,100 students, the Kantonsschule Enge is one of the largest secondary schools in the canton of Zurich.
To strengthen our building services team, we are looking for a motivated individual to start immediately or by arrangement.
Your tasks
- Cleaning work in school buildings and on the premises
- Maintenance of school buildings and outdoor facilities
- Setting up and preparing classrooms
- Assistance with school events and functions (occasionally on weekends)
Your profile
- Completed vocational training in a craft or technical profession
- Several years of professional experience in cleaning is an advantage
- Respectful and service-oriented interaction with internal and external stakeholders
- High social and communication skills
- Resilience, flexibility and commitment
- Willingness to work extraordinary shifts in the evening and occasionally on weekends
- Enjoyment of working in a lively school environment and as part of a team
- Willingness to work closely with the caretaker and school management/deputy head
- Good spoken German skills
