The Meiringen Private Clinic is located in the impressive landscape of the Hasli Valley, in the Bernese Oberland. Here, people with all forms of mental illness find admission, treatment, and care. The third largest psychiatric clinic in the canton of Bern is open to patients from all over Switzerland and abroad and is responsible for inpatient psychiatric basic care in the eastern Bernese Oberland. Care and support are provided according to the latest medical-psychiatric and nursing knowledge.

To strengthen our medical-psychological treatment teams in inpatient adult and geriatric psychiatry, we are looking for psychologists in training. If you appreciate a varied clinical activity in an interdisciplinary environment, we look forward to receiving your application. Your tasks
- Case management within an interdisciplinary treatment team under professional supervision
- Coordination and management of inpatient treatment of adult patients with disorders from the entire psychiatric spectrum
- Conducting psychotherapeutic treatments in individual and group settings as well as leading systemic discussions
- Conducting clinical and psychometric diagnostics
- Documentation of treatment courses as well as preparation of reports and other relevant professional documents
- Taking on day duties in the front-line service
- Ensuring professional, patient-oriented, and smooth care during the inpatient stay
- Close collaboration with doctors and other professionals in the interdisciplinary team
Our expectations
- Completed university degree in psychology
- Ongoing federally recognised psychotherapy training or planned imminent start of training
- Fluent German language skills, both spoken and written
- High social competence and respectful interaction with patients and colleagues
- Open, resilient, and flexible personality with a strong sense of responsibility
- Good communication skills and enjoyment of working with diverse stakeholders
- Interest and enthusiasm for interdisciplinary collaboration in a multiprofessional team
