In this small acute hospital in Eastern Switzerland, you will find anaesthesia that is professionally diverse and personally close. The distances are short, the team is manageable, and the workload remains well planned. The hospital offers a broad regional basic and acute care and is embedded in a strong health network in Eastern Switzerland. On site, patients from general internal medicine, surgery, gynaecology and obstetrics, as well as other surgical areas, are cared for. The Clinic for Anaesthesiology, Emergency and Pain Medicine is closely involved in the perioperative care of the surgical partner clinics.
The team is manageable, well-coordinated, and works with short communication paths. At the same time, you benefit from professional exchange, rotation, and development opportunities within the network.
The shift operation is well organised: during the week, work is carried out in a three-shift system, the late shift starts at 12:00, the night shift at 22:00. A maximum of one weekend shift per month is required. Individual wishes regarding late and night shifts are taken into account where possible.
Your tasks:
- Broad and independent anaesthesiological activity in a regional acute hospital
- Performing general and regional anaesthesia for elective and emergency procedures
- Caring for various surgical specialties with high personal responsibility
- Preoperative assessment, patient information, and perioperative care
- Independent work during shifts with support from a collegial team
- Participation in emergency medical service depending on experience and interest
- Active involvement in shaping processes, procedures, and internal clinical standards
- Participation in training, courses, and professional exchange
Your competencies:
- Specialist title in Anaesthesiology, recognised in Germany or the EU; support with recognition in Switzerland through Medimeo
- Broad anaesthesiological professional experience in general and regional anaesthesia
- Experience in preclinical emergency medicine is an advantage or interest in contributing in this area
- Enjoyment of a versatile anaesthesiological spectrum in a regional acute hospital
- Independent, responsible, and structured working style
- Team spirit, flexibility, and enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration
