Class and annual salary (including 13th month salary):

Tasks:
- ensures the Office Management within the various thematic areas of public statistics intervention and the phases of the statistical process (definition of strategic guidelines, conduct, management, coordination, planning and control)
- prepares, plans and implements, annually and over the periods corresponding to multi-year programmes, the activity of the statistics office
- manages external relations with particular reference to other cantonal, federal and municipal bodies, economic, trade union and employer associations, schools and universities, etc.
- participates in cantonal, inter-cantonal, federal commissions and working groups and, if applicable, foreign ones
- ensures compliance with legislative norms and fundamental principles governing public statistics activity within the office
Requirements:
- complete academic degree (bachelor and master or licence), preferably in economic or social sciences
- experience in personnel management and project management experience
- experience in data processing and empirical analysis on socio-economic and cyclical topics
- leadership qualities and recognised communication skills
- work autonomy, initiative, versatility and decision-making ability
- excellent analytical, synthesis and editorial skills
- excellent knowledge (spoken and written) of Italian and good knowledge (spoken and written) of the official languages and English
- knowledge of the main Office suite software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- preferential qualifications include:
- experience in the field of public statistics
- knowledge of statistical-analytical tools
