As director, you will assume overall operational responsibility for our pension institution and, together with a small motivated team, ensure professional and customer-oriented support for insured persons and affiliated companies.

The Pension Fund of Biel Hospital Centre manages the mandatory and supplementary occupational pension scheme for its employees. As director, you will assume overall operational responsibility for our pension institution and, together with a small motivated team, ensure professional and customer-oriented support for insured persons and affiliated companies.

Your tasks – our position
- General management and operational management of the pension fund
- Management of the pension fund’s activities in compliance with regulations and legal provisions
- Technical supervision and personnel management of a team of three employees, including two specialists in property management and administration
- Support and advice to insured persons and affiliated employers
- Responsibility for the smooth running of daily activities related to occupational pensions
- Collaboration with the foundation board and the investment committee, as well as preparation and facilitation of meetings
- Support to the foundation board and investment committee in implementing the investment strategy, particularly in the area of direct property investments
- Coordination and management of collaboration with external partners and service providers
- Monitoring of legal and regulatory requirements
- Ensuring professional communication in German and French
Your skills – our expectations
- Qualification as a certified pension fund manager or university degree in business administration, or equivalent training in social insurance
- Several years of practical experience in occupational pensions, ideally in a management position
- Knowledge of direct property investment management
- A sense of responsibility and excellent interpersonal skills
- An independent, structured and reliable working method
- Experience in management as well as strong communication skills to represent the company internally and externally
- Very good oral and written knowledge of German or French, with good knowledge of the other language
