- After thorough training, you will independently take on medical-psychiatric-psychotherapeutic treatment tasks for adults with mental health issues as a member of the interdisciplinary team, primarily in individual settings, and if interested, also in couple, family, or group settings, under regular senior physician supervision.
- In your daily work, you have the opportunity to work across the entire spectrum of psychiatric disorders and collaborate closely with other departments and referring agencies.
- You plan therapies individually, document them, and write medical reports.
- You take on medical duties as well as consultative examinations of patients at the hospitals in Grabs and Walenstadt.
- You have completed medical studies and ideally have two years of experience in inpatient psychiatry.
- You hold a professional practice license from the canton of St.Gallen or meet the requirements to obtain it before starting the position.
- You are pursuing the specialist title in psychiatry and psychotherapy and have advanced or completed a federally recognized psychotherapeutic training.
- Ideally, you have already completed the foreign year.
- You maintain an open, communicative approach with patients and team members.
- You are characterized by high commitment, initiative, and very good German skills (at least C1).
