Your opportunity
In this versatile role, you take over the operational procurement for central areas of our hospital and thus make a direct contribution to medical care. You work closely with internal specialist departments and external partners to ensure that everything is in the right place at the right time.
After successful onboarding and completion of further training in purchasing, we offer you attractive development opportunities – up to strategic tasks and leadership responsibilities.
This is where you get involved
- Independent operational procurement of medical consumables, office supplies, household and consignment items
- Ensuring timely, quantity- and quality-compliant deliveries in close coordination with suppliers and internal departments
- Proactive handling of supply bottlenecks, organization of substitute items, and transparent communication with users and logistics
- Maintenance and updating of master data (medical products, office, household items, supplier data)
- Obtaining and comparing offers as well as processing orders via the ERP system (Navision)
- Processing invoices, returns, and credit notes according to internal financial authority
- Supporting the purchasing manager in the procurement of budget and investment goods
- Participation in the implementation of purchasing strategies, process optimizations, and projects
- Participation in supplier meetings and active shaping of partnerships
You
- Completed training in a medical profession (e.g., surgical technology, anesthesia, ICU, or nursing)
- High motivation to complete training or further education in purchasing is mandatory
- Strong communication skills and confident demeanor towards internal and external contacts at all hierarchy levels
- Negotiation skills, assertiveness, and a good sense of priorities
- Digital affinity and confident handling of modern IT systems
- Analytical, networked thinking and enjoyment in keeping an overview
- Service-oriented personality with commitment, initiative, and team spirit
