Your field of activity
- In this position, the organisation and coordination of the outpatient visits of patients as well as ensuring a smooth consultation process in close cooperation with interdisciplinary interfaces are part of your varied tasks.
- Also part of your versatile area of responsibility are reception as well as check-in and check-out of patients, appointment scheduling at the counter, written and telephone summons, and handling of the telephone service, incoming links and emails.
- In addition, your duties include the creation, correction, formatting and dispatch of reports as well as supporting an efficient documentation and letter workflow including prescriptions, recipes, operation registrations, diagnoses, medications, vital signs and billing.
- Your area of responsibility is rounded off by the coordination of additional measurements as well as preoperative and diagnostic clarifications, the independent execution of medical diagnostic measurements in the ophthalmological environment and participation in the introduction of new employees as well as in interdisciplinary projects.
Your experience
- For this position, we require a completed training as a health professional EFZ, optometrist EFZ, medical practice assistant EFZ or medical secretary; professional experience in caring for patients with eye diseases is an advantage.
- We also expect a structured, independent and reliable way of working as well as pronounced organisational skills and the ability to keep an overview even in a busy consultation environment.
- Furthermore, you are a warm, patient and service-oriented person with high social competence, empathy, helpfulness and enjoyment of teamwork.
- Very good German skills, enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration, IT affinity as well as good user knowledge in Office complete your profile; knowledge of EPIC, SAP, Outlook and medical terminology is an advantage.
