The Stiftung Leben im Alter Herisau is home to over 250 elderly people. At the three locations Heinrichsbad, Ebnet and Dreilinden, around 260 employees shape everyday life in our homes. Trainer/Coach Health Professional 60 – 100 %
Do you want to shape the everyday life of our residents – especially people with dementia – with heart and professional competence and promote young talents? Then we are looking for you immediately or by arrangement as
Your demanding and varied tasks:
- You care for and accompany our residents with dementia sensitively, appreciatively and professionally in their home.
- You competently implement nursing measures and support the residents in daily life activities.
- You regularly take on daily responsibility, accompany and promote trainees in everyday nursing and gladly pass on your expertise.
- You observe changes in health status, pass on relevant information and document carefully in the nursing process.
- You work in early and late shifts until 21:15 and promote appreciative interdisciplinary collaboration.
Our requirements:
- You have completed vocational training as a Health Professional EFZ or an equivalent qualification recognised in Switzerland.
- You enjoy passing on your knowledge, promoting young talents and accompanying trainees with patience, appreciation and enthusiasm on their career path. Ideally, you have further training as a trainer/coach or are willing to complete it.
- Ideally, you have professional experience in long-term care and/or gerontopsychiatry as well as experience in the application of RAI LTCF.
- You work with heart, empathy and respect with older people and enjoy accompanying people with dementia.
- You are confident with IT systems and have good oral and written German skills.
