Job Description

Assisting during operations
Helping with the preparation of operating theatres
Comprehensive nursing care of patients
Positioning and handling in responsibility and consultation with the surgeon
Correct and complete documentation and performance recording
Receiving, executing or forwarding instructions from surgeons
Cleaning and operating medical-technical equipment
Performing interim cleanings
Refilling consumables and assisting in the washing area
Identifying and forwarding defective materials to the OR management

Qualifications

Technical Sterilisation Assistant Certificate Level I or willingness to obtain it
Professional experience in the operating theatre area
Completed vocational training in nursing is an advantage
Further training in operating theatre positioning techniques or willingness to acquire it
High professional and social competence as well as teamwork skills
A resilient and flexible personality as well as an independent, organised and responsible working style
Willingness to embrace innovations and develop professionally
Willingness to be on call
Good IT skills
