The position is attached to the Real Estate Directorate (DI), which is responsible for defining a real estate portfolio strategy, developing coherence in the monitoring of major projects according to the 2022-2040 hospital master plan, in close partnership with the main State services attached to the Department of Territory, the Department of Infrastructure and the Department of Health, optimising the monitoring of surfaces and future planning, while ensuring the smooth running of services. More than 230 professionals carry out their missions daily with constant demands, a sense of service and environmental responsibility.
The tools and methods sector brings together all the professional support skills in tools and methods necessary for maintenance activities for the departments and directorates that make up the hospital, notably the real estate directorate, the operations department, the medical and quality directorate.
Composed of engineers and specialised technicians, the sector manages and supervises the implementation, maintenance, support and operation of tools and processes related to technical maintenance and information systems.
Particularly the computerised maintenance management system (CMMS), and the management of the buildings and premises reference system (CAFM/GIS).
The sector acts as an interface with the Digital Transformation and Augmented Intelligence Directorate (DTNIA) of the University Hospitals of Geneva regarding the acquisition and implementation of IT resources specific to the activities of the real estate directorate.
Job Description
As part of your activities, you will be integrated into the CMMS support unit to ensure the proper functioning of the CMMS solution within the institution as well as its continuous development.
You play the role of business analyst for the various maintenance sectors (electricity, mechanics, building technology, biomedical, transport, radioprotection) and manage the projects for the evolution of the information system dedicated to maintenance.
You ensure optimal standardisation of processes, the article catalogue, methods, documentation, maintenance plans and operating ranges, in collaboration with CMMS users and business correspondents.
You supervise the CMMS operational services for some of the technical maintenance actors/users or for the support unit. You also participate in CMMS configurations, as well as in the management of indicators and reports related to the system.
You take part in the functional administration and support of the CMMS system.
You ensure the functional link between maintenance actors, the software publisher and the Digital Transformation and Augmented Intelligence Directorate (DTNIA) within your area of responsibility.
Qualifications
You hold a Bachelor-level engineering degree or an equivalent diploma and have good skills in IT systems.
You have at least 3 years of experience in a similar position, are client-oriented and possess solid experience in application support.
Your keen sense of organisation and planning gives you credibility, rigour and discipline in following up dossiers.
A hands-on person, you have excellent interpersonal skills, good writing ability and a great capacity for listening.
Thanks to your conceptualisation ability, analytical and synthesis skills, you are capable of managing several projects simultaneously.
Your negotiation skills are recognised, as is your ability to lead sessions with multidisciplinary teams.
You have an excellent knowledge of maintenance methods, CMMS (Carl Software and/or ServiceNow). Mastery of Business Intelligence tools (Qlik Sense, BIRT) is an additional asset.
In addition to French, you master technical English.
