Shunter Category A40
Tasks
- Conducting shunting operations according to Category A40 in stations and on siding tracks
- Train preparation according to FDV
- Transferring swap bodies with vehicle between lorry and railway wagon (horizontal transfer)
- Loading and unloading as well as provision of swap bodies
- Coupling and uncoupling of swap bodies
- Delivery and collection in compliance with deadlines and customer requirements
- General transshipment work
Requirements
- Swiss driving licence category B mandatory as well as completed A40 training
- Willingness to work shifts, assignments from Mon-Sun, including public holidays
- Reliable, punctual and responsible personality
- High level of commitment and willingness to perform
- Good German language skills, spoken and written
- Affinity for modern communication tools and computer use
- Good physical condition
- Experience in the refrigerated and/or swap body sector is an advantage
