Nursing Expert APN Geriatrics

• Professional leadership and support of acute geriatric patients as well as their relatives in the sense of a family-centred approach.
• Applying your advanced clinical skills as an APN in direct care on the ward as well as in a consultative role.
• Making evidence-based knowledge accessible to staff through standards, training and coaching and supporting its application in practice.
• Active involvement in shaping processes, participation in specialist and project groups as well as co-responsibility for the further development of nursing quality.
• Initiating and leading interprofessional case discussions.

Become part of the Department of Internal Medicine with training status A, which, with over 2,500 inpatients, over 6,000 emergencies and more than 450 patients cared for annually in the interdisciplinary intensive care unit, is a central and important service centre of the hospital. Our interdisciplinary wards with specialisations in acute geriatrics, internal medicine and surgery are managed within a primary nursing system.

This is how you convince us:

• Completed training as a certified nurse (HF/FH/DNII)
• Completed Master’s degree in Nursing Science (MScN)
• Several years of professional experience in direct care, ideally in internal medicine and/or acute geriatrics
• Strong communication skills, empathy as well as enjoyment of interprofessional collaboration and networking.
