About the job
BOBST Mex SA is looking for an Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) Specialist Engineer to become a key player in on-site prevention.
You will play a central role in developing and strengthening the EHS culture within the assembly and logistics teams. In close collaboration with managers and employees, you will help define and implement concrete and effective prevention measures, while ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Your missionYou advise and support teams on workplace safety and environmental matters for the assembly and supply chain sectors, while actively participating in the EHS management system.
You report directly to the EHS Engineer.
Your responsibilities
Accident prevention
- Conduct risk analyses
- Investigate incidents and accidents
- Train and raise awareness among employees about safety
- Deploy communication actions for prevention
- Participate in safety improvement projects
Environmental protection
- Investigate environmental incidents
- Raise team awareness
- Optimise waste management and propose improvements
Protection of lone workers
- Define and maintain risk analysis processes
- Collaborate with occupational health services
- Manage protection devices and their monitoring
Certifications & management system
- Participate in ISO 45001 / ISO 14001 management
- Follow up on actions arising from audits
- Prepare external audits
- Maintain system documentation
Support & leadership
- Advise department heads on EHS matters
- Monitor and communicate KPIs
- Participate in team routines
- Ensure your continuous development (OQual)
Your profile
Education
- Engineering degree in a technical field (mechanical, electrical, logistics, chemistry) or equivalent
- STPS Specialist or Expert (or equivalent mandatory depending on level)
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of EHS experience in an industrial environment (ideally mechanical)
Technical skills
- Mastery of ISO 45001 standard
- Good knowledge of ISO 14001 standard
- Proficiency with MS Office tools
Languages
- Fluent French
- Good level of English and/or German

- Ability to influence and persuade
