We are seeking a diligent and insightful Buy-Side Analyst to join our Research team. You will conduct in-depth fundamental research on companies across developed markets, with a specific focus on Technology, develop comprehensive financial models, and deliver high-conviction investment recommendations to internal stakeholders, especially portfolio managers and advisors. You will report to a senior analyst responsible for Technology research and investments.
Your role
• Assisting the senior Technology equity research analyst covering the Technology sector.
• Taking over some of the existing coverage of the Technology sector.
• Expanding existing coverage of the Technology sector.
• Building and maintaining complex, dynamic financial models to forecast future earnings and returns.
• Conducting management interviews, attending conferences, and interacting with sell side analysts.
• Designing and deploying AI-driven tools and workflows to accelerate and improve idea generation and fundamental research.
• Sourcing and researching investment ideas to be invested in the Technology portfolio.
• Publishing investment content on internal and external platforms.
• Making stock recommendations to internal and external stakeholders.
• Participating in marketing and servicing activities for internal and external stakeholders.

Your profile
• University degree: ideally Master’s degree or a postgraduate qualification such as a CFA.
• A minimum of 5 years of equity research experience on the buy side or sell side, in the Technology sector. Prior exposure to an Anglo-Saxon firm is a strong plus.
• Native or equivalent written and spoken English, fluent or better written and spoken French.
• Strong fundamental equity research capabilities with excellent quantitative (but not quant) skills, and a first-principles-based approach to analysis and communication.
• Outstanding written communication skills (investment memos, research notes) and excellent presentation skills to convey complex ideas clearly and convincingly.
• Complete proficiency in Bloomberg (terminal and Excel API), Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; solid working knowledge of VBA.
• Confident and effective user of AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Claude and similar applications) to enhance research productivity, insight generation and workflow efficiency.
• Independent-minded, intuitive, self-starter personality with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
• Ability to work under pressure and to meet demanding deadlines.
• Must be resident in Switzerland, or willing to relocate.
