What is the position about?
Are you technically interested and fascinated by machines and manufacturing processes? Do you like to work precisely and want to know how high-quality components and devices are made from raw materials?
Then the apprenticeship as a Polymechanic EFZ is just right for you!
In this apprenticeship, you manufacture mechanical components, set up CNC machines, build prototypes, and support the commissioning and maintenance of machines and systems. You will gain solid insights into modern manufacturing technologies and work closely with various teams.
What tasks will you take on?
You will:
- Process workpieces manually and by machine
- Set up, operate, and program CNC machine tools
- Assemble measuring devices and operating equipment
- Join assemblies using welding technology
- Build prototypes and participate in commissioning
- Plan, monitor production processes, and support maintenance work

You:
- Are at an intermediate or higher school level
- Achieve good results in mathematics, technical design, and STEM subjects
- Have manual skills and enjoy technology
- Possess good logical thinking and technical understanding
- Work carefully, team-oriented, and reliably
