What is my role?
You take on the electrical and mechanical diagnostics, repair and maintenance of internal and external CNC production systems. In doing so, you work on exciting investment, machine and plant construction projects, especially in the area of control system construction and retrofit. You are ready for regional external assignments outside production in Heerbrugg and can look forward to an interesting and very varied activity with personal responsibility in a committed team. Your normal working hours are flexibly regulated by flextime; in rare cases, on-call duties at weekends are possible during high internal production loads or special projects.
What do I need to be successful?
You have an electrical engineering education, for example as an automation technician, industrial electrician, mechatronics technician or electromechanic; alternatively, you have a basic mechanical education with corresponding additional training in the field of electrical engineering. You have several years of professional experience in fault diagnosis of CNC systems and electromechanical systems and possess solid knowledge in troubleshooting CNC controls such as Siemens, Fanuc or Heidenhain. You have PLC diagnostic experience, preferably with Beckhoff TwinCAT, Omron and Siemens, as well as knowledge in pneumatics, hydraulics and basic mechanical expertise. Good knowledge of MS Office (Word/Excel) as well as German spoken and written complete your profile.
