CISTEC enters a strategic partnership with the i-engineers

CISTEC AG is entering a strategic partnership with the i-engineers, aiming to combine CISTEC's clinical excellence with the digital networking expertise of the i-engineers. As strong digitalisation partners, we want to create noticeably more time for direct patient care and sustainably advance the digital transformation of the Swiss healthcare system.

Within the framework of the partnership, we are pooling our competencies in the areas of clinical information systems and clinical process excellence, patient and referrer portal technologies, as well as interoperability and data interfaces.

At the heart of this partnership is the seamless integration of KISIM with the health-engine platform to create a continuous digital care chain, from appointment booking through findings to treatment documentation. At the same time, existing processes for healthcare professionals are to be simplified. Hospitals and healthcare institutions will particularly benefit from noticeable time savings in everyday treatment, transparent and continuous treatment processes, as well as faster information availability for patients and referrers.

Interoperability as a Foundation

Special attention is paid to open and interoperable architectures. Standards such as openEHR and FHIR provide the basis for making health data securely and structurally available and efficiently connecting different systems. This partnership thus creates the foundation for a future-proof digital infrastructure in hospitals.
