DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER: PROFILE SYSTEMS 80-100%
📍Schwarzenburg
Our long-standing development engineer will retire at the end of May 2027. Thanks to early succession planning, a careful introduction and comprehensive knowledge transfer are ensured. In this versatile role, you will accompany products from the idea to the end of their life cycle and work closely with internal and external partners.
Start date: 1 January 2027
Your area of responsibility
- Further development of sliding doors, profile systems, locking mechanisms and burglary protection solutions
- Mechanical development and design of new products and components
- Responsibility for development, modification and optimisation projects throughout the entire product life cycle
- Conducting technical clarifications as well as planning and evaluation of tests and validations
- Collaboration with testing and certification bodies
- Creation and maintenance of technical documentation, drawings and parts lists
- Management and coordination of smaller development projects
- Support for production, sales and customer service with technical queries
What you bring with you
- Completed technical training in mechanical engineering (FH/HF)
- Several years of experience in product development and mechanical design
- Good CAD skills
- Independent, structured and solution-oriented working style
- Strong team spirit and high quality awareness
- Enjoyment in solving technical challenges pragmatically and sustainably
