SAP ABAP developer

Description

We are currently looking on behalf of one of our clients based in Bern for a SAP ABAP developer. This is a permanent hybrid role.

Your role:

• Implement modern SAP applications in both traditional ERP (ABAP/ABAP OO) and the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
• Develop side-by-side extensions of SAP Cloud products such as Ariba or Sales & Service Cloud using the Integration Suite, Cloud Foundry, or Build Code.
• Support business departments in the technical implementation of requirements and work closely with our IT architecture.
• Take responsibility for projects - from conception to go-live.
• Contribute your own ideas and help shape the future-proof SAP development environment.

Your profile:

• Completed apprenticeship or degree in computer science or comparable training and further education
• Several years of experience as an SAP developer (ideally in S/4HANA environments)
• In-depth knowledge of web technologies such as SAP Fiori/UI5, HTML5, and JavaScript
• Solid expertise in ABAP, ABAP OO, and ideally CDS Views and OData Services
• Experience with cloud technologies and development on SAP BTP
• Structured working method, enthusiasm for new technologies, and a desire to develop solutions collaboratively
• Good written and spoken German (C1) and English (B2) skills
