The Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Service (KJPD) and the Clinic for Children and Adolescents (KKJ) of Spital Thurgau in Münsterlingen offer excellent conditions for social pedagogues in various training paths and levels (FH, HF). The Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Service (KJPD) Thurgau offers excellent conditions for classical child and adolescent psychiatric as well as comprehensive psychotherapeutic training. We treat over 3,000 patients annually with high quality standards in family-friendly, outpatient, outreach, and day clinic settings, if possible with evidence-based therapy methods (multisystemic therapy MST, Parent Child Interaction Therapy PCIT, ESDM for early intervention in autism). Intern in the Social Pedagogy Department
You will take on
- The social pedagogues design, as part of an interdisciplinary team with teachers, psychologists, doctors, and special education teachers, the therapeutic environment for the age group between 4 and 18 years.
- You will guide the children or adolescents pedagogically in everyday life and organise, among other things, project weeks and day projects with the children or adolescents.
You bring with you
- As an intern, you accompany children with psychosomatic, psychiatric, and somatic illnesses.
- You would like to complete a preliminary internship in order to subsequently or possibly at a later date begin training as a social pedagogue.
- Internships or practical modules during social pedagogy training are also possible.
- You are at least 20 years old.
