Purchasing & Logistics Winterthur (ELW) is a service company in the Department of School and Sports of the City of Winterthur, whose core competence lies in the professional and efficient procurement and distribution of consumables and capital goods. Our main customers are the schools of the City of Winterthur. For our Purchasing & Logistics department, we are looking for a committed, team-oriented, and proactive personality to start immediately or by arrangement. The position is initially limited to at least six months and serves as a replacement within the team. Depending on further developments and operational needs, there is the possibility to extend the fixed-term employment relationship until the end of the year.Your Tasks
- Consulting and support of our customers
- Providing price information, preparing offers, and handling complaints
- Processing customer and webshop orders up to invoicing as well as creating invoice documents for cash sales
- Responsibility for product groups including conducting supplier discussions and negotiations as well as assortment design, changes, promotions
- Processing purchase orders, from requirements determination through deadline monitoring to invoicing
- Maintaining master data and administrative handling of repair and service orders for various devices
Your Profile
- Completed commercial or comparable basic training
- Initial experience in purchasing and customer service
- Resilient, well-organized, cost-conscious, and service-oriented personality
- Good MS Office skills (Word, Excel)
- ERP knowledge ("D365 BC") is an advantage
- Confident German language skills in spoken and written form
