About the job

• Independent care of pneumological patients in inpatient and outpatient settings – from routine cases to complex clinical pictures
• Leadership of the interdisciplinary lung ward in close cooperation with internal medicine and thoracic surgery
• Participation in specialised clinics and interdisciplinary boards as well as active shaping of key focal points of our department, including interstitial pneumopathies, lung transplantation, asthma and COPD
• Work in interventional pneumology, sleep medicine, general pneumological outpatient clinic and insurance medicine
• Implementation of own research projects as well as active contribution to teaching and promotion of junior staff

• Completed specialist training in pneumology (FMH)
• Proven clinical expertise and interest in the further development of specialised pneumological services in a university environment
• Enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration as well as an open and appreciative communication culture
• Commitment to teaching, further education and clinical research
• Habilitation with own research area desired
• Very good German language skills in spoken and written form (at least C1); additional languages (especially French) advantageous
