Junior Assistant Urology (100%)

In the elective study year (2nd year of the Master of Human Medicine), students can gain in-depth insights into the work of a urologist as junior assistants in our Urology Clinic. They actively participate in the clinical routine.

What to expect

• You will care for urological patients in the outpatient clinic, inpatient area, and operating theatre together with the medical team
• Admission examinations/history taking for elective patients
• If needed, you will assist in various operations
• Participation in departmental work such as ward rounds, patient care, and medical record entries
• Various internal training opportunities within the department
• Free accommodation available in the nearby staff house

What you bring to us

• Commitment and enthusiasm for a clinically interdisciplinary oriented activity
• Very good German language skills, both spoken and written (minimum requirement level C1)
• Social competence in dealing with patients and relatives
• Swiss or EU citizenship
• Student of Human Medicine
