About the job
To strengthen our team in long-term psychiatry at the Breitenau Psychiatric Centre, we are looking for a Dipl. Registered Nurse HF (80-100%) from 1 November 2026 or by arrangement.
On our 4 long-term psychiatry wards, each with 18 beds, chronically mentally ill women and men with cognitive impairments, limitations in independent living and daily activities, or pronounced behavioural abnormalities are cared for. Furthermore, the wards offer low-threshold rehabilitation programmes for patients who then return to their original environment or transfer to another institution.
What to expect
- Care and support of patients with chronic mental illnesses and limitations
- Support for patients in independent living and daily activities, ensuring the highest possible quality of life
- Assuming daily and professional responsibility
- Key worker role with management of the care process
- Planning and accompaniment of medical visits
- Leading nursing reports and professional nursing discussions
- Participation in the supervision and support of nursing apprentices and HF nursing students on the ward

- Completed training as a Registered Nurse HF or equivalent recognition
- Interest and enjoyment in working with younger and older mentally ill people and their accompanying issues
